Job Shadowing

Job shadowing provides students with opportunities to learn more about the realities of the work world. In a job-shadowing situation, students can observe a professional on the job, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of the career. The intent of these informal relationships is to offer students a glimpse at a typical workday within a career. Students may shadow as many professionals as they would like and at any time throughout their academic career.

Pre-Nursing Shadowing Program
Career Services partners with the School of Nursing in sponsoring the PNUR (Pre-Nursing) Shadowing Program. This program is targeted to PNUR students and others interested in exploring the field of Nursing.
The next two Pre-Nursing Shadowing dates are September 26 and October 3. Registration for these dates is now open and may be accessed through DragonTrail. For more information on the Pre-Nursing Shadowing Program, contact the UAB School of Nursing.
